In-person Tuition Policy

The following requirements are needed for tuition to take place with OL Tutoring’s services. By engaging with our tutoring services, students and their guardians agree that they can meet the following requirements:

Environment

A safe, suitable environment for the student to be tutored in needs to be available. This must consist of a table and chair to sit at in a quiet space. You are required to notify us prior to any tuition taking place of any risks to health and safety known to you at the location at which the tutor will undertake the tuition and what steps you have taken to prevent or control such risks during the initial correspondence. The suitability of such an environment remains at the absolute discretion of the tutor at all times and OL Tutoring reserves the right to terminate an agreement and/or tuition session at any time in accordance with this policy.

Students must also have the required materials to record their learning in each session. This must consist of at least a pen/pencil that they can use to write and sheets of paper/ a notebook to write on.

A responsible adult must be within sight or sound of the student at all times during all tutoring sessions.
